August 8th Ginga Ninja Tickets Go On Sale Tonight!

The next Ginga Ninja Nite Thunder event is being held Saturday August 8th at Castrol Raceway. Ginga Ninja Dirt Promotions is an oval dirt track racing event featuring Late Models, Extreme Sportsman Sprints, NAMS Mini Stocks, 600 CC Micro Sprints, NSA 360 Sprints. We are waiting to see what the AHS & Alberta Government has in store for August regarding the next phase.

Please do not send emails for tickets until the 29th. We will post any news if there are changes to the number of seats we are able to sell.

Ticket Price $20.00 ea and are only available by pre-sale. NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AT THE GATE ON EVENT DAY.

IMPORTANT COVID 2020 TICKET HOLDER INFORMATION

1. 5:30pm spectator gates open, Racing at 7:00pm (no tickets are sold at gate).
2. There are no ticket refunds; if the event is rained out the tickets will be good for the next event.
3. Once inside the speedway property if you leave you cannot return, so make sure you have all the items you need for the evening. (Jackets, blankets or mosquito spray etc..)
4. Tickets will be available for pick up at the spectator entrance on event day. (Again, no tickets will be sold at the gate).
5. Due to the current Alberta Health Services guidelines we have to implement practices to minimize the risk of catching Covid-19. We are to physical distance as much as possible and follow the recommended guidance for every ones well-being.

The man behind Ginga Ninja is Ron MacDonell. I asked him how he felt about the first event of the year:

I received a number of positive responses from the fans regarding the show but some were not happy with the one large group not abiding by the social distance rules. I will address it with the group and hopefully they will act accordingly.

The night for the most part went well except my track prep guy went too far trying to keep the dust down at intermission, we went 3:15 our goal is three hours, so were good.

Racing was okay and all drivers were happy to get back in a race car. Cars from BC were happy and are going to come back again.

The July show sold out and I feel confident the August shows will sell out also. Keep your eye on the Ginga Ninja website and Facebook account for updates on the August 8th event and beyond. See you at race track.
